Post N Y C RUNS
Fellow Runners
NYRR has opened up registration for their 1Q17 calendar of races, and they come in all different distances. The Fred Lebow (Manhattan Half Marathon) has been one of the more popular of their Grand prix series runs. It is set for Sunday, Jan 22nd at 7:00 AM. As of now 1 other club member and myself are headed in for this race. So do the subtraction and you'll see there is room for 6 more runners in the HRH van. If you've never run a race in NYC, or in Central Park for that matter, then you should try it. Don't think of it as a wasted day. On the contrary, if the race starts on time we will run the race and be on our way home by 9:45 AM and back in Clinton by 11 AM to finish out your Sunday. I'll take care of the logistics, and the only cost to you is your story of the race told on the way home. Take some time and give it some thought, but not TOO much time. This race will probably fill up and be closed by Xmas.
Cheers
DS :D

Correction on the start time, of this Half marathon, is actually 8:00 AM. All things remaining equal, then we should be back home by noonish (for those running). I apologize for the starting time error. :(

So far so good with 4 in the running.
Come on all you other club runners!
Variety is the spice of life.
Step forward and try this race.
The Harlem Hills of Central Park are just as exciting as Spring Hill Rd.
Cat Hill can team up with the hills on River road and on Sidney School Road.
You'll get to run by the Met, Wollman Rink, and you may be able to catch
a view of the statue of Balto the wonder dog. I hope I've jogged a few minds? Would like to get at least another 2 more (to make the ride in more efficient).
