 Boston Cut Off 2017
This is an interesting read for those so inclined to sit there with their calculators..................as I, obviously did! This fellow has lots of time on his hands and avid curiosity - thankfully for the rest of us! By the way, I did a little research on my own - The ScotiaBank Ottawa Marathon saw temps approaching 100 degrees and Grandma's was pretty hot, near 90 or so! http://www.namethatbostonmarathoncutoff.com/

 Re: Boston Cut Off 2017
His 2015 list has a glaring error ... he has Berlin marathon as top feeder... that should be Boston marathon.

 Re: Boston Cut Off 2017
Registration dates have been announced: Registration will open on Monday, September 12, at 10:00 a.m for those 20 minutes or more under their age group / sex qualifying time. Registration will open on Friday, September 16, at 10:00 a.m for those 5 minutes or more (but under 20) under their age group / sex qualifying time. Then registration will re-open for all qualifiers from Monday, September 19, at 10:00 a.m. ET through Wednesday, September 21, at 5:00 p.m. ET
This may be the year that even 5 minutes below qualifying time, may not be enough to guarantee acceptance !!!

 Re: Boston Cut Off 2017
I beg to differ, Colin. Revisit the link I originally posted and look at new stats that include Grandma's hot marathon results. He is calling for 0 margin. Fewer people have BQ'd this year due to warmer, OK, hotter race conditions.

 Re: Boston Cut Off 2017
Latest installment - Big Cottonwood Marathon which was yesterday, 9/10/16 http://www.namethatbostonmarathoncutoff.com/ I would imagine that if not later today then tomorrow he will pick the VIA results apart. Although today's weather improved as the morning went on it had to have been dreadful in the early miles and took its toll. Kudos to all who competed today in both full and half.
